We use high-purity quartz glass because it can handle the intense heat without cracking. To make sure you aren’t just heating the ceiling, we add reflectors that push the warmth down toward where you actually are. The guts of the machine have to be tough, too. We use heat-resistant terminals so the wiring doesn’t fry under a heavy load. And since this is a bathroom, we make sure the housing is IP-rated. You don’t want moisture messing with your electricity.
A few things to keep in mind
These heaters pull a lot of power. You’ll want to double-check that your circuit breakers and wiring can handle the peak load, otherwise, you’re just going to trip the power. Placement is everything here. If you mount them too low, it feels like you’re standing too close to a campfire. Too high, and you lose that cozy, high-end hotel feel. Find that sweet spot in the middle, and it’s perfect.
