If you’ve ever stepped into a freezing locker room or a damp changing area, you know that traditional heating just doesn’t cut it. You don’t want to wait twenty minutes for the air to warm up; you want to feel the heat the second you walk in. That’s where high-density shortwave infrared comes in. How the heat actually works

Why the sealing matters
An IP65 rating is just a fancy way of saying the housing is dust-tight and can handle a blast of water. In a changing room, you’ve got steam and splashes everywhere. We make sure the spots where the wiring hits the element are sealed tight. Why? Because moisture loves to creep into terminals. If you try to save a few bucks with a non-rated replacement, you’ll likely be dealing with a short circuit within a few months. It’s just not worth the risk.
A few tips for installation
These are designed to be simple drop-in replacements. Just make sure your voltage and wattage match your existing controller exactly. One thing to keep in mind: these tubes getinsanely hot. If your reflectors are dirty or pitted, you’re wasting energy because the heat isn’t bouncing where it should. Also, check your wiring. High energy density means a lot of current, and if your conduits aren’t rated for it, they’ll overheat. And do yourself a favor—use a torque wrench on the terminals. Loose connections lead to arcing, and that’s a fast track to a dead heater.
